Nikia Bailey

I am a proud Ngarrindjeri mimini. My mob is from the lower Murray River in South Australia. I was born on Kaurna country and I’m in my first year of studying a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of South Australia. Once I complete my Masters degree, I aim to further my study and complete a PhD on intergenerational trauma, attachment theory, and Aboriginal families. Ultimately, I aspire to work as a Clinical Psychologist with young Aboriginal people.

I have worked and continue to work in several roles with Headspace National. I am most passionate about amplifying the voices of Aboriginal youth and ensuring they have a place at the table.
