
Tammy Hatherill
Tammy Hatherill is a proud First Nations woman, respecting her Palawa/Pakana bloodline and ancestors from Tasmania & the Anindilyakwa mob on Groote Eylandt (NT) where she was raised.
Tammy is a provisional psychologist with the Aboriginal Health Service – Danila Dilba. She incorporates evidence-based modalities such as CBT, Clinical and Nuero Hypnotherapy, and EMDR, and enjoys yarning with her clients and staff alike. Tammy is also the weekend Mental Health Clinician at the Darwin Private Hospital.
It is expected that Tammy will have her psychology general registration in February 2024 after which she will commence her PhD research in Aboriginal Traditional Healings. Tammy feels passionate about allowing her people to use what works for them in their healing journeys without the fear of getting into trouble or strife by choosing whatever path they want to walk down.
