Jilya Psychology Services
Psychology Services
We offer culturally and clinically safe, trauma-informed psychological services for Aboriginal children, adolescents, adults, and families.
Our team of psychologists are all Indigenous. As registered psychologists, and having strong cultural connections and foundations, all our clinicians provide therapy that is evidence-based, relational, and embedded in foundations of Aboriginal ways of healing. Services are available both in-person and via Telehealth.
Aboriginal clients often feel ‘shame and stigma’ accessing psychological services. Having Aboriginal psychologists at the helm means that we focus on providing a place of cultural safety throughout the entire process from first contact to ongoing therapy.

Supervision
Our cultural supervision provides a safe and supportive space for practitioners to reflect on their work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients. It helps strengthen cultural awareness, build culturally safe practice, and deepen understanding of Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing. Through guidance, reflection, and learning, cultural supervision supports professionals to deliver respectful, effective, and culturally responsive care
