The Westerman Jilya Institute Welcomes Narelda Jacobs as Patron

The Westerman Jilya Institute is incredibly proud to welcome Narelda Jacobs as Patron, and we are honoured to have her support.

A respected journalist, proud Whadjuk Noongar woman, and passionate advocate for truth, equity and representation, Narelda brings extraordinary leadership, integrity and vision to this role.

Her support as Patron will help significantly raise awareness of Jilya’s mission and the urgent need for culturally informed responses for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and communities.

Narelda’s voice, leadership and longstanding commitment to sharing stories that matter make her a deeply valued supporter of Jilya’s work. For Jilya students, staff and supporters, having Narelda walking alongside us is an incredibly exciting and meaningful moment.
